Ability to add/drop in a "saved section from the left hand menu

Currently - if I want to use a premade template section the only way to do this is to go all the way to the bottom of the page and add in a saved section from there.
This causes a problem because I have to drag this new section all the way up through the site to the position I want on the website.
It would be great if we could just drop in a saved section directly from the left-hand menu to anywhere we want on the page
