Ability to Add subdomains not just root and/or www

I want to request to have the ability to connect custom domains via a subdomain. As this current system is, it’s either all or nothing when connecting a custom domain. New customers with a thoroughly established web presence might be extremely reluctant to switch all their assets to a new platform.
The lack of functionality is unfortunate, as FT could offer product pages, funnels, client portals, or booking pages on subdomains for the client. Ultimately, we are missing added value and trust-building between us as a provider and the customer for further development and web asset migration.

I found out what I was doing wrong___

@Leland Was right. This already exists.

The subdomain needs to be specified with the domain when initially linking them together in FT.

Since I was not specifying the subdomain, the system was looking for the root or www domains.

You can add any subdomain you like in the "Add Custom Domain" under your Sites section. The system will kick back the required CNAME record to add to your DNS settings to operate the sub-domain.

I will run a few tests, but if that is the case, then this might be an opportunity to change some wording when connecting a domain.
Right now, it leads me to believe that FT wants to Host the entire domain. - because of this, I did not select the create the "www." option.
Without selecting this, I was only prompted with the A record for the root domain. - I tried a subdomain value in place of the '@,' but after 48 hours, this did not connect. On the other hand, I could connect a custom domain using the root and A record.

More to come :)

Yes, with the ARecord redirect to the IP address it captures the entire domain, adding a domain such as "support.domain.tld" will give you one CNAME record to add to DNS that should be adequate to host anything you want thru FT on that particular sub, the rest is covered by the A Record. This only works if you're already hosting the main.tld with FT
